A workshop is an event. A programme is a system

Most training is bought as a day, delivered once and forgotten. A programme has a curriculum, a progression, an assessment and a way of being taught by someone other than its author. That is the difference between an inspiring afternoon and a qualification people put on their CV.

Before you write

Questions I am usually asked

Can you take over an existing programme?

Yes, and it is often the better starting point. An existing programme carries knowledge about what works that a new one has to learn expensively.

Do you teach it, or train our people to teach it?

Both, in that order. I lead the first cycle and train the people who lead the next one, because a programme that depends on one person is not yet a programme.

Does it work in more than one language region?

That is the reason to build it this way. Curricula are designed in four languages from the start rather than translated afterwards, which is when regional versions start drifting apart.

Can it lead to a recognised qualification?

If it is built for that from the beginning. Retrofitting a certificate onto an existing course is possible but usually more work than designing for it.
